Starting a Business in Allendale?

Allendale is centrally located in Ottawa County which means easy access to main highways and quick commutes to anywhere in the region.   We are 15 miles from Grand Rapids, 23 miles from Holland, 29 miles from Muskegon, 171 miles from Detroit and 172 miles from Chicago, Illinois.

Allendale’s population surged 59% according to the 2010 census, the largest percentage of growth in Ottawa County, Michigan.

To reiterate what W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research economist George A. Erickcek stated at the top of his January 8, 2013, presentation in the City of Holland, entitled  2013-2014 Forecast for Ottawa County, “2012 was a great year!”  It was.  And, all indications are (based upon an evaluation of recent data and information as well as a tally of the benefits to be derived from a number of significant industrial development projects underway and announced) that this trend in Ottawa County will likely continue into the future.
