The Memorial Garden is an area on the north west corner of the Allendale Community Park,
used to honor loved ones who have passed away. The trees, gardens and benches in the memorial area have been donated to honor loved ones.
In the center of the garden is a original
art sculpture, designed by Grand Valley State University art students Brian Caponi, Zyra Castillo, Ruby Miller, Andrew Tankersley, and Teresa Zbiciak. The curved walls of the sculpture simulate
a geographical map of the Township, with a simulation of the Grand River forming the top border water feature. Embedded in the sculpture are bronze castings of everyday objects used by Allendale residents and a topographical map of Lake Michigan Drive.
 
As of June 2008, the following people have been honored by a donation of a tree or bench to the Memorial Garden:
